Seriously?  The waving and the smiling?

Okay, let’s think about this. He grew up in a mansion, followed by five years in hell. Then he became a vigilante, “living” in the mansion and then in a basement cave and then in the loft. So basically, he’s never really had neighbors. Until now, he’s been removed from people either through tainted fame or by choice. Until now, he’s never really been in a physical position or emotional posture to be neighborly.

This is so beautiful, because again this little act demonstrates profound character growth. The running is casual. The waving is carefree. His environment and personality still match; except he’s changed so much, that this relaxed world feels like him now–feels like home. Suburbia looks good on you, Oliver.
